What options exist in the NMS application to help minimize the possibility of system performance issues during a Hurricane/Major Storm?

 Immediate preparation
 Minimize the number of Events in JMService memory and what the Work Agenda is loading.
 In the Authority tool:
 Avoid doing Model Builds during heavy loads if possible.
 Review any Debug that is turned on in the NMS Services or WebLogic application.
 Reduce the overall number of Study Sessions.
 Predicted Out Conductors
 Set DDService to only listen to certain important alarm types and set -autoclear period reasonable.
 Feeder Load Management (FLM) forecasting and history is of minimal value when a storm is occurring due to rapidly changing network conditions.
