MSCPLD - Loader Worker With Direct Load Option Completing In Error - ORA-01722: Invalid Number

We ran an ATP plan in one of our R12.2.4 instance and notice that the 2 of the child requests 'Loader Worker With Direct Load Option' completed with error. This resulted in the Memory Based Planner 64 bit Linux request also completing in error.

The log file of the 'Loader Worker With Direct Load Option' has below error message:

Record 135090: Rejected - Error on table MSC.DEMANDS1027, column QUANTITY_BY_DUE_DATE.
ORA-01722: invalid number

Record 472095: Rejected - Error on table MSC.FULL_PEGGING1027, column ALLOCATED_QUANTITY.
ORA-01722: invalid number

The FG (E08X000069) needs 2 units of this component (0000110700) per unit FG and it has a yield of 99.5%.

We have a WO for the FG for qty 3 which needed this component qty of '6.030151' but the quantity that got back-flushed is '6.03015' and hence it has an open requirement of '.000001'.

The issue is when WO demand (order) was created for this component by MBP it passed 'nan' (character) in 'QUANTITY_BY_DUE_DATE' column which is a numeric column. MBP should not have passed a character value in a numeric field.
Also if EBS WIP/INV transactions allow decimal precision to such level MBP also should have handled it.
Another quick update - As a temporary workaround we cancelled all the WOs where this component is being used and re-ran collections and plan.
The plan completed successfully now. But this is the FG that we will have orders for with this component going forward hence this cannot be a permanent fix.

We are in the middle of a crucial integration test cycle and the entire integration testing is stuck because of the failure in ASCP plan runs.
