Employee Card Swipe Not Recognized at the Manager Override Login Screen (Doc ID 2064296.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) does not recognize the swipe/scan of an employee card at the Manager Override prompt screens.

Steps to Reproduce:


Pre-Requisite: Set up the Keyboard MSR (Magnetic Stripe Reader) on the register.

1. Select F4 Admin.
2. Enter a cashier's ID and password.
3. Manager Override login screen is displayed.
4. Swipe an employee badge at the MSR.
5. No response on the ORPOS application.
