Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

VCP 12.1.3.9.1
Both EBS and APS on same release

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
WIP Job Prefix is not created for the work orders created from the ASCP workbench

We have a requirement to add Planner Prefix to the Work Order number. It is working fine for Manually created Work Orders. For the ASCP Released Work orders, Prefix is not getting appended to the Work order number. The required set-up for this is to set the profile option WIP:Discrete Job Prefix, WIP:Job Name Updatable as Yes at both source and destination instance. But it doesn’t seem to be updating the number.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect work orders created from ASCP to have the job prefix.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Responsibility > Advanced Supply Chain Planner.
2. Release the planned order from ASCP workbench.
3. See the job gets created without the prefix

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Jobs are created without prefix causing inconsistencies in the execution floor.
