XITEM - Cannot Use MOD Message To Update Item Status (Doc ID 2065351.1)

Symptoms

 

When using the item MOD message via XITEM with the intent of updating an item's status, the status will always get set to the item's current status in the SVC_ITEM_MASTER table rather than the status set in the message. The end result is the status in ITEM_MASTER will not get updated.


Steps to Reproduce:


1. Create an item in worksheet status using the RIB XITEM script.
2. Verify that it is in the SVC_ITEM_MASTER table in worksheet status.
3. Modify the item's status using the XITEM MOD RIB script.
4. Check the SVC_ITEM_MASTER table again which will show that the item is still in worksheet status.
