Request for enhancement: Ability to test Sp/Sy sessions in virtual time
- When testing Gy+Sy+Sp sessions, one needs to be able to test them in an arbitrary time - similar to the way that virtual time works in BRM.
- On Gy, Event-Timestamp AVP is supported, which allows the requests to be treated relative to the input time and not server time. This is not the case for Sp and Sy however. All requests on Sp/Sy are always handled in real server time. Hence, one is unable to properly test many basic scenarios that depend on SLC or SPR changes occurring at a specific time, i.e. at billing DOM midnight or at the end of a specific bundle validity time, etc.
- It would be very useful to be able to set Event-Timestamp AVP (or an equivalent, i.e., ORA-Event-Timestamp, to accent the deviation from the standards) on Sp/Sy requests, which would be used for testing purposes.
- Changing server time is not a usable alternative for testing.
Would it be possible to accommodate this enhancement in the product ?
