PMDA E2B Transmission is failing with the error "8722" is not a character number in the document character set" (Doc ID 2066992.1)

Symptoms

Unable to transmit the PMDA E2B and the following error was an output in the E2B Transmission log.

 

Error:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\Argus\InterchangeService\DTDFiles\NSGMLS.EXE:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\Argus\InterchangeService\DTDFiles\ESM_XXX_XXXX.TMP:XXX:XXX:E: 

"8722" is not a character number in the document character set

 

Conditions:

In PMDA E2B B.4.k.2.1, the clinical compound number (CCN) with the hyphen(-) is an output.
