Reclass of an Item in a Product Restriction Causes the Entire Product Restriction to Be Resent to ORPOS (Doc ID 2067091.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), reclass of an item in a product restriction causes the entire product restriction to be resent to Point-of-Service (ORPOS).


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create an item which belongs to a department that has a restriction in POS_PROD_REST_HEAD with EXTRACT_REQ_IND = N.
  2. Reclassify the item from RMS to another department.
  3. Run reclsdly (daily reclass batch).
  4. Note that POS_PROD_REST_HEAD.EXTRACT_REQ_IND for the restriction has been changed to Y.
