replicationIF Process is Crashing Under High Replication Load

(Doc ID 2067113.1)

Last updated on APRIL 12, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 6.0.0 [Release 4.3 to 6.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC) up to 6.0.0, the Replication Interface (replicationIF) processes are unstable on all client nodes and end up being killed by the watchdog.

The resulting backtrace is as follows:

Program terminated with signal 6, Aborted.

The final frame (#0) shows replicationIF was blocked trying to write data to a socket to send to a remote end.
