Symptoms

For Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Financial Performance Analytics (EFPA) 6.1.x, when you run the SCD process for a dimension (ex. GL Account), duplicate rows are created in the DIM_<dimension> table (ex. DIM_GL_ACCOUNT) for values -1 and 0:

N_GL_ACCOUNT_ID N_GL_ACCOUNT_SKEY V_GL_ACCOUNT_NAME F_LATEST_RECORD_INDICATOR
-1 -1 OTH Y
-1 2981 Default Member Y
0 3053 Expenses Y
0 0 MSG Y

In Dimension Management > Members, there are existing values defined for -1 and 0.  These values appear to combine with default values generated by the SCD to create duplicate values in the target dimension table. (ex. DIM_GL_ACCOUNT).

Note: The duplicate values cause duplicate rows to get loaded from LEDGER_STAT to FCT_LEDGER_STAT.
