JCA Adapter Timeout Not Working (Doc ID 2068034.1)

Goal

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management(BRM), 7.4.0.13.0 version, Webservices Mgr & JCA Adaptor

The timeout was set to 8 seconds in the JCA Adapter, but there were transactions that took more than 1 minute and they were successful. Why the timeout parameter was not taken into account?
