Symptoms
The item reclassification job takes an unacceptable amount of time, even for small numbers of records. In a typical sample set, this job takes more than 1 hour 30 minutes to complete 150 records. It is expected that job should take about 20 to 25 minutes for a volume of about 200 records.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Setup reclassification in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Run RECLASSDLY.PC job.
- Ensure that the RPM_ITEM_MODIFICATION table has the required number of records.
- Run RPM itemReclassBatch job.
