RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL.MAX_HIER_LEVEL and RPM_PROMO_ITEM_LOC_EXPL.MAX_HIER_LEVEL Are Populated With NULL After Execution of NewItemLoc Batch (Doc ID 2068842.1)

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

The RPM_FUTURE_RETAIL.MAX_HIER_LEVEL and RPM_PROMO_ITEM_LOC_EXPL.MAX_HIER_LEVEL are populated with NULL after executing the NewItemLoc batch.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a parent item with diff (Color).
  2. Create child items C1, C2, C3, C4, and C5.
  3. Range child C1 to store S1 with regular price 1000 sek.
  4. Range child C1 to store S2 with regular price 1000 sek. 
  5. Run NewItemLoc batch.
  6. Create a 'cheapest free multi-buy' promotion at the zone level as follows: 
    Item: All - Select all 5 child items. 
  7. Range child C2 to store S1 with regular price 1000 sek.
  8. Range child C2 to store S2 with regular price 1000 sek.
  9. Run NewItemLoc batch.
