Last updated on SEPTEMBER 08, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 to 7.5.0.0.0 [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : BRM 7.5.0.8.0 version, Pipeline Manager / Listener

The listener module got disabled upon sending semaphore to reload DAT_Rateplan Module and it did not get re-connected anymore even after passing reconnect semaphore.

For example:
Sending semaphore:
ifw.DataPool.RateplanDataModule.Module.Reload {}

After the INF_DEQUEUE_DISABLED, due to above explained reason, none of the subsequent events were getting de-queued from the queue table. All events were sitting in the queue with READY status. All these READY status events were de-queued successfully after Pipeline restarted.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
-----------------------------
Listener got disabled upon passing semaphore -  ifw.DataPool.RateplanDataModule.Module.Reload {}

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
--------------------------------
Listener should not get disabled upon passing semaphore -  ifw.DataPool.RateplanDataModule.Module.Reload {}
