Symptoms

On Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) on version 9.3.5 or below, when attempting to access Java Client the following error occurs.
The error also happens when accessing to AutoVue for Agile PLM:

'Application Blocked by Security Settings' 'Your security settings have blocked an application signed with an expired or not-yet-valid certificate from running'.

Adding the Agile URL and File Manger URL to the Exception Site list of the Security tab of client Java does not resolve the error.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch browser, and access to Java Client URL. Launch, and gets error.
  2. Login to Web Client, and open an object with attachment. Go to Attachment tab, select the file and View. Gets the error.
  3. Open Java Console, and add below URLs to Security exception list
    http://{appserver}.{domain_name}:{port}
    http://{filemanager}.{domain_name}:{port}
  4. Retest the case, but the error still appears in both Java Client and AutoVue for Agile PLM.
