Migrated UWC External Mail Setting Gives Error Notifications And Sometimes Can Not Be Deleted (Doc ID 2071495.1)

Symptoms

 
Users migrated from Comms Express to Convergence and now have issues with the migrated pop3 collection setting :

- Error messages are shown in Convergence on delete of the setting, while the setting does get deleted from the ldap server
- When settings of the external mail collection are corrected, the external mail collection works, but the feature can not be removed anymore


Steps to reproduce

1. define an external mail collection in Comms Express
2. let the same user log in to Convergence
3. a. on Get Mail, cancel the pop-up and delete in Options the external Mail Profile
  -> error is shown, but entry is deleted
    b. on Get Mail, provide a password, see how it fails and then  delete in Options the external Mail Profile
  -> error is shown, but entry is deleted
    c. go to options, correct settings and then go for Get Mail. Next, attempt to delete the external Mail Profile
  -> error is shown, entry can not be deleted
