Symptoms

When creating a new calendar event in Convergence 2 with copy/paste of an email address of the form 'Firstname Lastname <Firstname.Lastname@domain>' into the invitations or reservations section ( Calendar resources ), the given data is accepted but turned over to : 'Firstname Lastname <Firstname Lastname>
STEPS to reproduce

1. Login to Convergence
2. Create an event
3. Try to invite some string resembling an email address with literal Name
   a. select reservations input area
   b. enter: Firstname Lastname <Firstname.Lastname@domain>
   c. observe: no result found
   d. commit entry by pressing the circled '+'-input
   e. observe: input gets accepted, input area cleared, 'Firstname Lastname' is added to the list of reservations
4. Select 'Firstname Lastname' from list of reservations
5. Select 'compose mail to' from drop down menu
6. Observe: Mail address lacks the 'crucial part' <Firstname.Lastname@domain> but consists of 'Firstname Lastname' <Firstname Lastname>
7. Save the event

With Calendar Server 7 the event does not get created, but gives the error of "The request to the server has failed. (60)"  Which means the end user does not know what has gone wrong

Convergence should not convert given data to invalid addresses.
