RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC.ERROR_MSG Is Blank When NewItemLocBatch Fails to Process Records (Doc ID 2074454.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) 14.0.x, when NewItemLocBatch (NIL) fails to process an item/location, it remains in RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC with a status of "E".  However, the ERROR_MSG column remains blank.  We expect the RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC.ERROR_MSG to be populated when the STATUS column is 'E'.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a new item.
  2. Go to RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC to process the new items in RPM.
  3. Run newitemloc batch.
  4. The items are rejected with status E and RPM_STAGE_ITEM_LOC.ERROR_MSG is blank.
