Use Of Regular Expressions In Generic Selector Rule (Doc ID 2075635.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.2.0.7.0 to 11.2.0.7.0 [Release 11.2.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 11.2.0.7.0 version,

Scenario:

* In a customers configuration, regular expressions are used in Rules (Generic Selectors), and this was possible prior to installing the ECE PS7.
* One could enter e.g. "BHRST|IRQKK|JORMC|KWTNM|SAUAJ" for matching a rule attribute. But it seems this is no longer possible as ECE only matches if one enters a unique value like "BHRST".

Question:

Can one continue to use regular expressions as it was possible to do before when configuring rules in Generic Selectors?
