RETL Batch Job Rmsl_forecast.ksh Fails With ORA-01034: ORACLE Not Available (Doc ID 2076176.1)

In Oracle Retail Extract, Transform, and Load (RETL) Release 13.2.X

Script rmsl_rpas_forecast.ksh fails to execute when the password has a special character "#" included.

Steps To Recreate:

  1. Include special character "#" in the batch user password.
  2. Save the password in RMS DB Wallet and RETL Wallet.
  3. Execute rmsl_rpas_forecast.ksh weekly
  4. Notice the below error:
      SQL*Loader: Release - Production on Mon Oct 26 16:43:51 2015
      Copyright (c) 1982, 2014, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.
      SQL*Loader-128: unable to begin a session
      ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
      ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
      Linux-x86_64 Error: 2: No such file or directory
