Load/Copy/Merge MDS Program Is Experiencing Poor Performance Due to Large Number of Records in MRP_RELIEF_INTERFACE table (Doc ID 2077306.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Load/Copy/Merge MDS program taking long time

We have a request set "AWA Detroit Load/Copy/Merge MDS" which has requests that run the standard program 'Load/Copy/Merge MDS' several times for each 'Destination Schedule'. This request set should take about 2 hours in average to complete. But sometimes this is taking longer, for example 7 or 9 hours. Due to this, the next set of MRP related programs are getting affected so that the MRP_RECOMMENDATIONS table is not populating as expected.

We have been running gather schema stats for MRP and MSC to clear stale data every day hoping to see above request will complete in lesser time but this did not improve performance of the program 'Load/Copy/Merge MDS'.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the request set "AWA Detroit Load/Copy/Merge MDS"
2. Note the problem with Load/Copy/Merge MDS performance
