Allocation Model Fails with 'ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE' in Messageserver Log

Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0 with OFSAA Infrastructure 8.0.1, you get the following error in the messageserver log, msg_trace_file.log, in $FIC_DB_HOME/log when running an Allocation Model:
Error Msg :-> ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE

The Allocation Model errors out after processing 1 or 2 allocations. These errors do not occur if the Allocations are run individually.
