Goal

Why does Oracle Retail Integration Bus (RIB) item/location publishing from Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) ItemLoc message not include replenishment start and end dates?

Even though the replenishment method is sent for item location data, no indication is given of when it starts and when it ends.  If it was sent with a given replenishment method only when it started, there is no mechanism in place to send another message when the replenishment stops.

This leads to external systems not knowing when a given replenishment should stop, whereas the expected result would be for another message to be triggered by a batch when a replenishment stops, or the sending of 2 extra fields informing other systems of the duration period.
