Style Ranging Results in Incorrect Child Price Inheritance (Doc ID 2079400.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 24, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 14.0 and later
Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 14.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Price Management (RPM) 14.1 integrated with Retail Merchandising System (RMS), when a transaction level item has a different zone level retail than the parent and ranging is performed at the style level, the child item incorrectly inherits the retail associated with the style rather than the transaction level item.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Ensure that some of the children have a retail that is different than the parent.
  2. Approve the item.
  3. Range a location at the parent level.
  4. Notice that the child/location has inherited the zone retail associated to the parent rather than the zone retail of the transaction item.
