Goal
The goal of this article explains what happens when a Runtime Exception comes from the Audit table while deleting SP Characteristics
Customer have a custom batch CMRTEMON which updates MR Cycle & MR Route in SP from the characteristics value in SP Char (Charateristics Type Code is ROUTECHG). If the value of MR Route & SP Char value is same this batch deletes the charateristics from SP Char.
It was observed that all SP Char are not deleted in one go rather than some records are deleted when some are not.
Upon investigation we found that A audit table is attached in CI_SP_CHAR Table with audit program com.splwg.base.domain.common.audit.DefaultTableAuditor. When this is disabled all characteristics are deleted perfectly fine.
As audit program is a batch program we are not able to identify what is going wrong. Can u provide us a suggestion what needs to be done to overcome the issue.?
