POS Transactions in STAGED_MESSAGE Table Are Not Picked in the Order of Message Number for Processing (Doc ID 2083547.1)

Symptoms

Point Of Service (POS) Transactions in Store Inventory Management (SIM) STAGED_MESSAGE table are not picked for processing in the order of message number.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Shut down the POS Transactions polling timer
  2. Create SALE, SALE, and VOID transaction for the same UIN.
  3. Once the three transactions reach STAGED_MESSAGE table, restart the polling timer.
  4. Notice that the transactions are not processed in sequence based on message number.
