Symptoms
File upload not working through Java Client after enabling SSL. See below error in the java console log:
Error
<Warning> <Security> <BEA-090504> <Certificate chain received from {hostname.domain_com} - xx.x.xxx.xx failed hostname verification check. Certificate contained *.{domain_name} but check expected {hostname.domain_name}>
network: Connecting socket://{hostname.domain_name}:port with proxy=DIRECT

Can upload file from Web Client
Fact
Wild card SSL certificate is installed for the File Manager
Steps
- Log into Java Client
- Open any object, and go to Attachments tab, and add file
- File Uploader window pops up
- Browse for Files, select a file, and Upload
- The indicator will not change from 0%
