Goal

It is base standard to exclude child characteristics in the BO schemas. Implementations are expected to extend the base BOs to add a flattened element so that these characteristics can be rendered individually with specific label on UI.

For example, in order to add Characteristic for Calculation Group, an implementation can extend the C1-CalculationGroup data area and add a flattened row mapped to Characteristic collection. Please refer to Schema tips on how to flatten a characteristic.
