When Generating Alert Email Message in SIM for Returns, the Quantities Are Multiplied By Pack Size (Doc ID 2085015.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 18, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When generating email alerts in SIM (Store Inventory Management) for Return To Warehouse, the quantities included in email are incorrect.  The quantities displayed in the email are multiplied by pack size value.

Example:  If requested Quantity =2 and pack size = 3, email quantity will be 6.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create Return To Warehouse from RMS for 2 SKU's with 48 and 72 quantities.
  2. Note that email sent shows incorrect figures, instead of showing qty 48 and 72 it shows the multiplication of quantities with the pack size.

Sku: 100706203 Pack Size: 24 Qty: 48
Sku: 100706203 = 24 x 48 = 1152 qty.

Sku: 100703395 Pack Size: 24 Qty: 72
Sku: 100703395 = 24 x 72 = 1728 qty.
