Oracle Retail Back Office - Version 14.0 to 14.0.3 [Release 14.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Retail Back Office (ORBO), event details are not present in the primary event tables (CO_EV and CO_EV_MNT) for temporary price change events which are not expired and still active.
As a result, users are not able to ring the items corresponding to that event on POS.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. From Back Office, create a "Price Promotion" for Item '908'.
  2. From POS, check and verify that the Promotion is Active.
  3. Check the following tables on the store DB to verify that the promotion is available:
  4. Import the following Kill And Fill "ItemImport"

   5. Check the following tables on the store DB:
       MA_ITM_TMP_PRC_CHN --> Event is not deleted
       CO_EV --> Event is deleted
       CO_EV_MNT --> Event is deleted

   6. From POS try to enter the Item ID '908'.

   7. The following error occurs when accessing the database:  "An unknown exception occurred.  Please inform your supervisor, then press Enter to continue."
