OC Switch Needed For Hiding Declined Events
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Communications Connector for Microsoft Outlook - Version 9.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Invitations which have been declined are still visible in the calendar view. They are only marked by a white bar at the left side.
This mark can hardly be noticed when searching for a free time slot. Although Outlook usually removes the event completely when declining it, Convergence only sets PARTSTAT=DECLINED in the attendee line of the event. If a calendar is accessed by Outlook Connector as well as by Convergence, it is possible to end up with declined events in the calendar.
In Convergence, an option is available to switch on the visibility of declined events, so a similar switch is needed in Outlook Connector in order to see a consistent state as well in Outlook as in Convergence.
