RPLSPLIT.PC (Replenishment Splitting) Splits Incorrectly When Using Pallet Level Truck Split Constraint (Doc ID 2086393.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.2.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 13.2.x, the RPLSPLIT.PC batch splits the order quantity incorrectly when the truck split constraint is set to Pallet level.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set the truck splitting at the supplier level in SUP_INV_MGMT.
  2. Below is the list of constraint values to set at the supplier and the ITEMSUPP_COUNTRY level:
    SUPP_PACK_SIZE = 1, TI =15 and HI = 10
    TRUCK_SPLIT_METHOD = I, TRUCK_SPLIT_CNSTR_VAL1 = 20 and TRUCK_CNSTR_TYPE = 'P'.
  3. Consider the order quantity as 3000 for item.   As per the pallet level it should not split, but the order quantity gets split to 2999 and 1 quantities.
