Symptoms

Condition flags such as PDO, RDO and Planned Switching remain visible in the NMS (Network Management Systems) Viewer after the event or switching plan is completed.  The condition flag disappears if a model edit occurs (adding a jumper) or if the user logs out and back into the application.

Steps to recreate:

1. Log in and take authority
2. Open a device to create a Real Device Outage (RDO) event
3. Close the device

At this point the device is closed and the customers are restored however, the "RDO" flag remains visible on the device in the Viewer.

OR

1. Log in and take authority
2. Create a new switching sheet
3. Execute the steps of the sheet
4. Transition the switching sheet to Completed

The switching event transitions to W-CMP however, the "Planned Switching" flag remains visible on the device in the Viewer.
