IMAP error "BAD Command Line Too Large" (Doc ID 2093331.1)

When performing some actions, like deleting a large number of messages, the IMAP error "BAD Command line too large" is returned by the server.

Here is an example, when deleting more than a thousand messages through a third-party client:
