"Error creating dir" When Extracting Views (Doc ID 2093334.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run the Data Extract View jobs, the following errors appears in the log:

Connected to ORACLE as user /.
Connected to ORACLE as user RXC_MAA.
Creating Account STUDYNAME$CURRENT
Last view maintainence timestamp=yyyymmddyyhhmi
Changing directory to /home/opapps/sas_view/dbname
Creating dir studyname
Error creating dir studyname
Returned status = -1
ERR level 1
create_account
Create account failed.
ERR level 1
maintain_account
Error when calling create_account
Connected to ORACLE as user /.
Connected to ORACLE as user RXC_MAA.
RXCDXBVB EXIT WITH FAILURE
