Saving LDAP Through Java Client Throws Error "There is an exception occured during the search. Error Code:100. Job was canceled due to this error!" After Changing User Path (Doc ID 2094064.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to save LDAP server configuration after changing User Path, the following error occurs.

Error
There is an exception occurred during the search. Error Code:100 . Job was canceled due to this error!


Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Java Client as Admin user, and go to Admin tab | Server Settings | LDAP node
  2. From the LDAP Configuration tab, open property for configured LDAP
  3. Change the User Path and press OK
