Provisioning Interface Optional Parameter NEW_BUCKET, is Missing from Documentation (Doc ID 2094152.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In case there is a need  to add a new bucket for every recharge done by the Provisioning Interface(PI) with the CCSCD3=RCH command, according to PI Commands (CCS) Operation Guide Release 4.4 technical guide, there is an optional parameter described for this: NEW_BUCKET=Y/N.

NEW_BUCKET
Syntax: NEW_BUCKET=<Y|N>
Description: Whether or not to create new bucket for this recharge.
Type: Boolean
Allowed: Y Create a new bucket.
N Do not create a new bucket.
Default: N
Notes: This applies to Custom and Credit recharges only.
Example: NEW_BUCKET=Y

This seems to be missing from later versions of the Network Charging and Control (NCC) documentation starting with 4.4.1 till 5.0.3.
However this parameter was verified and still works on version 5.0.2 and 5.0.3.
