Primavera P6 Professional Project Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : P6 Client Application

Editing Activity information in combination with Undo (CTRL Z), then exiting P6 does not save the edited information.  Upon logging back into P6, the changes are no longer there.

1.  Click in an Activity Name cell twice so it highlights the name, overwrite the name.  Ex: Original name Testing is renamed to Test.
2.  Click out of the cell onto another cell, then go to Edit, Undo or CTRL Z.  The name reverts back to Testing.
3.  Highlight the name Testing and add 123.  Ex:  Testing 123.
4.  Click on another cell, go to File,Exit and exit P6.
5.. Log back in to see the changes are not saved, the name is back to Testing.  NOTE:  Even if after clicking in another cell, if you go to File, Commit, File, Refresh then exit.  The information is again not saved.

Database locking occurs on the USESSION table. This may cause a user to not be "able to log into P6".
