For Retail Merchandising System (RMS) Item Induction functionality, ITEM_SUPP_COUNTRY should not (but does) require rounding information. We get the following errors related to ITEM_SUPP_COUNTRY when using Item Induction:
Even when these fields are not included on the ITEM_SUPP_COUNTRY template, the errors will appear. This is incorrect, as these fields should not be required to be part of the template and even if these fields are in the template the values should not be required. These values should default from the corresponding SYSTEM_OPTIONS (i.e., FOUNDATION_UNIT_OPTIONS).
This should work the same as when creating an Item in RMS. When creating an item in RMS, the values for these fields is defaulted from the SYSTEM_OPTIONS values. This is the reason these fields are defined in SYSTEM_OPTIONS.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create an Item Master Template for inducting items that includes ITEM_SUPP_COUNTRY.
- Do not include ROUND_LVL, ROUND_TO_INNER_PCT, ROUND_TO_LAYER_PCT, ROUND_TO_CASE_PCT and ROUND_TO_PALLET_PCT (although this really does not matter, as the problem will exist if the fields do/don't exist).
- Add all specific item data, item supplier data, and item supplier country data (excluding the rounding information).
- Induct the item data and notice the error messages.
