MapEditor Crashes When Loading A Shape File Configuration (Doc ID 2094987.1)

Goal

When trying to load a Shape file in MapEditor to create a .mal, MapEditor crashes. This affects several version of the MapEditor.

The following steps are used to create the .mal:
  a) Select load from file menu
  b) Format - Shape
  c) Configuration Name-New
  d) Data Set Configuration- edit, country-united states,
  e) Add File -
  f) Added Streets shape files
  g) Saved
  h) Data Format Configuration - when clicked, MapEditor Crashes.
