P6 Professional Setup Wizard Fails With "Status Code -#########", or setup.exe Displays a Blank White Window (Doc ID 2095206.1)

Symptoms

When running the setup.exe installer for P6 Professional, any of the following errors can occur:

ERROR #1:

The P6 Professional Installation Screen (after the prerequisite installs) is blank:

 

ERROR #2:

"The Operation You Requested Failed With Status Code -#######"

Reported error numbers: -2147024894. -2147023294. -21470112889. -2147019796, -2147012867, -2147023293, -2147024891

 

In addition, a log file will be generated to the user's profile location:

The following error messages can be found in the P6_Professional_{timestamp}.log file:

[07AC:07D0][2015-11-12T03:25:03]i000: OverallStatus is Failed to install Primavera P6 Professional (x86)

or

or
