Discrepancy Of Data Length Of SERVICECLASS In Tables IFW_USC_MAP & IFW_RATEPLAN_CNF (Doc ID 2095399.1)

Last updated on MARCH 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 7.5 PS13 version, Pipeline Manager

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
IFW_USC_MAP has SERVICECLASS of Varchar2(2000 Bytes) whereas IFW_RATEPLAN_CNF is only Varchar2(5 bytes).

This is causing a problem in developing a solution for us where we have SERVICE CLASS of up to 30 bytes in length.
We can alter the IFW_RATEPLAN_CNF, but then Pricing Center does not recognize more than 5 Bytes.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
For Pricing Center to be able to display the Service Class of up to 30 bytes.
