Reports Not Displaying Data on Second Page When Printing Notebook Topics and Displaying Error: "Vertical Height Exceeds 4000 When Running Reports" (Doc ID 2095539.1)

Symptoms

SYMPTOM #1

When running a newly created report, the following error occurs:

"Vertical Height exceeds 4000"

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Log-on to P6 R8.3.5 and go to Reports then click on "+" to create a new report.

2. For report subject area, select: EPS, Project and WBS notebook, click Next.

3. In 'Configure Selected Subject Areas', click on Columns and have the following under Selected Options: Notebook topic, Notebook Description, Project and EPS, Project and WBS notebook Count. Click Apply, OK, Next, Next.

4. Click Run report, Format numbers: ticked, Click Next. Select Print Preview Option and click OK.

 

SYMPTOM #2

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Report is not displaying text on the second page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The report will display all text on every page.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Select the report from the list.

2. Right click and select run\report.

3. Select Print Preview and OK.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, multiple users cannot view entries on pages other than the first page.
