Agile 9.3.4 On Linux Shuts Down When PuTTY Session Ends
(Doc ID 2096265.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Agile Product Collaboration - Version 9.3.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Agile 9.3.4 is started in a local PuTTY Session using the Unix nohup command. When the PuTTY Session is closed, Agile shuts down. The customer has X11 forwarding configured on the Agile server. It appears that Agile is attaching to the PuTTY session using the DISPLAY environment variable. If the customer does an unset of the DISPLAY variable in the shell before starting Agile in background it works as expected. The latter is a work around but a bit inconvenient.
Changes
Enabled X11 forwarding.
