Agile Application Server Running on Linux Shuts Down When Terminal Session Is Closed (Doc ID 2096265.1)

Symptoms

Agile Application Server is started using nohup command, but it shutdowns when the terminal session where Agile Application Server is started is closed.
There is no error message in the Application Server log.

This happens when using any SSH clients that support X Server, such as below:
- Xshell 7
- MobaXterm
- Putty with X11 forwarding enabled

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Using Xshell 7, start Agile Application Server using nohup command:

  2. Gets below message in Xshell 7:

    Connection closed by foreign host.
    Terminal closed from remote host(xx.xx.xx.xxx:xx) at xx:xx:xx
    TCP/IP forwarding channel is still open.
    Enter "exit" to terminate all TCP/IP channels and close this session.


  3. Go to browser, and see the user is unable to access to Web Client URL with below error in the browser:
    ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
