RPM Sends Incorrect Threshold Amount Type to ORPOS for a 'Buy_N_of_X_for_Off' Threshold Promotion (Doc ID 2096726.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 14, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

RPM sends incorrect Threshold Amount Type to ORPOS for a "Buy$NofXforZ%Off" Threshold Promotion.

For example, on an item and amount level threshold promo, RPM sends the threshold type amount of '0.01' as '0' to Point Of Service (ORPOS). Because the value is 0, further processing of the ORPOS file cannot be done.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Define an Amount Threshold Type with quantity 0.01.
  2. Create an item and amount level threshold promo using the above Threshold Type.
  3. Notice that on RPM_ORPOS_CMPLX_PROMO_PUBLISH this Threshold Type Amount is rounded to 0.
