12.3 PLUGIN Calendar function

In the 12.3 PLUGIN, when a form field is formatted for MM/DD/YYYY, a calendar displays in the PLUGIN. This allows the User the ability to use the calendar icon to select the date, or to key the date into the field. These date fields were not marked as required on the form. However, if a user clicks into the field they cannot remove the date from the field.

For other forms in the library that contain a field that will accept either date (MM/DD/YYYY) or the value "NONE", the calendar icon does not appear and the user can remove any value they successfully entered in the field.

If a User inadvertently enters a date in the field, it should be possible to remove it.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter a date in a date field using the calendar functionality.
2. Then attempt to remove the date .
