SIM Client is Asking for Dual Login Even With Single Sign-On (SSO) Configured
(Doc ID 2097284.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In a Single Sign On (SSO) configured environment, whenever users are trying to log in to the Store Inventory Management (SIM) client application from SSO page and after supplying valid credentials, it launches the application but the user is not logged in directly. The SIM login screen is displayed. However, after providing the same credentials given on the SIM login prompt, the user is able to log in to the SIM client.
Basically even after configuring SSO, the system is prompting the user to log in two times (first on SSO page and second time on the SIM client).
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Invoke SSO URL for SIM application.
2. Enter SSO credentials on the browser and click on login.
3. Instead of launching the SIM application directly, the system displays the SIM application login screen, asking for dual login.
