Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

After installing Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) 15.0, the ReSA WebLogic managed server has the CLASSPATH value as '<$MW_HOME>/modules/com.bea.core.apache.log4j_1.2.13.jar:${resa.dir.properties}:$CLASSPATH'.
However, this file and folder do not exist.

Steps for this scenario:

  1. Log in to the ReSA WebLogic Console
  2. Navigate to resa-server -> 'Configuration' tab -> 'Server Start' sub-tab
  3. Check the Classpath value and verify the location of the com.bea.core.apache.log4j.**.jar file.

    It incorrectly shows the classpath as '<$MW_HOME>/modules/com.bea.core.apache.log4j_1.2.13.jar:${resa.dir.properties}:$CLASSPATH'

    The correct location of the jar file is:
       <$MW_HOME>/wlserver/modules/com.bea.core.apache.log4j_1.3.0.0_1-2-15.jar
        OR
       <$WL_HOME>/modules/com.bea.core.apache.log4j_1.3.0.0_1-2-15.jar

This needs to be corrected, as the classpath setting is coming from the installer by default.
