FCEXEC Batch Aborts With 'ORA-30926: Unable to get a stable set of rows' Error (Doc ID 2097465.1)

Symptoms

The FCEXEC batch aborts with the following error:


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a deal for a regular item.
  2. Create a reclassification for the same item.
  3. Run fcthreadexec, pre fcexec, and fcexec.
  4. Update vdate to [vdate+1].
  5. Now delete the above created reclassification and create a new reclassification for the same item.
  6. Notice that in cost event tables there are 2 cost events created (one for REMOVE and one for ADD).
  7. Run fcthreadexec, pre fcexec, and fcexec.
  8. Notice the error @0PACKAGE_ERROR@1ORA-30926: unable to get a stable set of rows in the source tables@2FUTURE_COST_SQL.MERGE_DEAL in COST_EVENT_RESULT table.
