When the Mandatory Field 'Currency' is Missing, the System Throws an Error on the Amount Field (Doc ID 2097543.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing - Version 2.4.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the Mandatory field 'Currency' is not included in the transaction data (a row in the .csv file), the system throws an error that the 'Currency is missing'. However, it does not upload the amount that does exist in the .csv file for the transaction that has an empty 'Currency' field. If the amount, for example is 100, and the currency is missing, the error thrown is 'Currency is missing'. When the Mandatory field 'Currency' is missing, the system throws the error on the amount field. The 'Amount' field contains '0.00' (even though the amount is 100 in the .csv file for the transaction) and also throws an error that the 'Amount is empty'.
